A few years ago the bird of paradise plant was in every room. I still love that style but for a more seasonal and long term design I would recommend an olive tree. It looks organic and more natural adding a calm effect with its subtle green to any room with more muted tones. This type of artificial tree can come of extremely fake if done wrong, but this Crate & Barrel one is the best faux olive tree for the price. Yes, its a lot but it will last you from year to year with minimal effort and a classic design. With savings over $1,400 its a better buy for go with the affordable yet realistic olive tree.
